MY STORY

I started playing tennis aged six and quickly fell in love with the game.  As a junior I played at County, Regional and National Level and then went on to play professionally on the international circuit for a number of years before I decided to focus on my coaching career.

I have also continued to play competitively throughout this time.  I am captain of the Berkshire Men's over 35 team, Captain of the Maidenhead Lawn Tennis Clubs Men's first team since 2001 and I am currently competing on the ITF Masters Tour. In June 2024 I am ranked 2nd in GB for Men's doubles O45s.

Over the past 25 years of coaching I have worked in a variety of roles, with all levels of players.  I have extensive experience of junior performance squads and have coached players to international level, including representing Team GB and Portugal.

​

But for me its not just about performance tennis.  I want to help everyone.  From tiny tennis (ages 3 and up) through to senior tennis.  I have coached and developed many clients who had different goals, recent examples include:

 

- Social players wanting to improve their game play,

- Clients coming back from serious injury and illness,

- Groups of players who want some tips whilst also playing socially,

- Service master classes including video analysis and evaluation.
